We Are Hiring: Cloud Software Engineer

LB Networks is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer who is comfortable with scalable containerization and has a solid understanding of the infrastructure and tools to deploy and maintain a SaaS platform. This position will be working closely with our development and infrastructure teams to as we continue to migrate and enhance our SaaS applications and services to be more scalable, efficient, and portable. You will be assisting in maintenance and creation of processes and tooling to deploy, monitor, and maintain our services for a wide variety of customers across the world.   • Collaborate with teams to migrate legacy applications to containerized architectures using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design and implement container orchestration solutions to automate deployment and scaling of applications.
  • Develop scripts and tools to streamline containerization processes and automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness by implementing scaling strategies and monitoring resource consumption.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to containerization, networking, and hardware infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing, containerization, and infrastructure.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting using languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with major providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware infrastructure components like servers, networks, and storage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in distributed systems.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of container security best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Understanding of infrastructure optimization and cost management in cloud environments.
